Chazuta – Hike: 2 day tours
On this route we will walk through Chazuta and its beautiful natural resources such as the Tununtunumba waterfall and the sulfur baths.
Itinerary:
- Destiny: Chazuta
- Departure: Tarapoto
- Departure time: Approximately 8:00 a.m.
- Return time: Approximately 06 p.m.
- Dress code: Casual

Day 1: Tununtunumba Waterfall
- Arrival at Chazuta.
- Welcome drink.
- 2-hour hike to the Tununtunumba waterfall.
- Picnic lunch in nature.
- Cacao fields of ‘Rio Bosque Magico’ Heriberto’s family farm.
- Agroforestry and cocoa harvest with machetes (optional).
- Amazing dinner with organic food grown in RBM’s garden.
- Overnight in Chazuta.
Day 2: Sulphurous Waters of Chazutayacu
- Breakfast
- Walk to the Chazutayacu Sulfur Hot Springs. 7 kilometers
- Picnic lunch in nature.
- Swim and relax before
- Walking back to Chazuta.
- Amazing dinner with organic food grown in RBM’s garden.
- Mishky Cacao Chocolate Factory.
- Returning to Tarapoto.
- End of the experience.
