Full Day: San Roque de Cumbaza Cultural Experience

Visit to Petrona’s house – one hour walk from the town of San Roque De Cumbaza in the Quechua lamista community of Chunchiwi. You can learn how to make basic ceramic bowls at women’s houses. You will learn how to process the clay, clean and remove any residue and then you can try your hand at making your own bowl. A real opportunity to feel what it is like inside the houses of the local indigenous people. Built with earthen walls and palm leaf roofs. A once in a lifetime opportunity.
